Eight evenings, from 6th of July to 31st of August, in our splendid Amphitheater: the third “Festival delle Colline Mediterranee” will re-propose the formula that guaranteed the success of the previous editions, with alternating moments of discussion on cultural and current events and evenings dedicated to music, dance, theater and live performances

Wednesday 6 of July the Festival opens the evening-debate on the theme “The Mafia, The Mafia – 1992/2022. In memory of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino” starring Lirio Abbate – director of “L’Espresso”, which presents the book “Stragisti ”and will be among the personalities awarded the “Il Normanno Prize” .

Wednesday 13 of July the unmissable cabaret event “Bis!” with Francesco Cicchella: the hilarious one man show by the neapolitan artist, famous for his participation in “Made in Sud” and winner of the fifth edition of “Tale e Quali Show”, will mix comedy and music to create a show full of emotions and laughter. Wednesday 20 of July the focus is on the war in Ukraine: “Of war and peace” is the theme of the conversation that Mariano Ragusa and Eduardo Scotti will conduct with Nico Piro (Tg3 correspondent in Moscow), who presents the book “Dannati Pacifisti” , with the intervention of Francesco De Core, director of “Il Mattino”; Michele Albanese, director of Banca Monte Pruno; Antonio Ferraioli, president of Confindustria Salerno; Ottavio Lucarelli, president of the Campania Journalists Order and Andrea Prete, president of Unioncamere.

Followed by live music with Lorenzo Maffia and his tribute to Lucio Battisti and Lucio Dalla.

Wednesday 27 of July in the amphitheater the unmistakable voices and sounds of Neri Per Caso will resound. The most famous Doo-Wop group on the Italian scene will offer the greatest hits of over twenty years of career, from the album “Le ragazze” to the last work “We Love The Beatles” through the collaboration with Jovanotti for “I love you baby “. For the “Books” section, the psychiatrist and writer Corrado De Rosa will be the guest of the evening, presenting the book “A Salerno”, conducted by Giovanna Di Giorgio.

Wednesday 3 of August, the Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, awarded as the best Italian popular music group, will arrive in Salerno, directly from the famous Notte della Taranta, with a concert that promises to be an explosion of energy and passion to the rhythm of tarantata pizzica. Wednesday 10 of August will be the turn of the sophisticated combination of dance and theater with “GiroTango” and the Teatro del Giullare which presents, under the direction of Andrea Carraro, Argentine and Italian dancers and actors, in a fantastic journey between Salerno and Buenos Aires on the notes magic of tango

Wednesday 24 of August fun is guaranteed with the Midsummer Party: after the restrictions of the pandemic, there is a desire for good live music, dance, food & drink (by Eden Banqueting).

Wednesday 31 of August closing with a flourish with the show “E ti vengo a cercare”, written and narrated by Andrea Scanzi, which tells the story of the great maestro Franco Battiato with the musical interpretations of Gianluca Di Febo, leader of Terza Corsia and Floyd On The Wing .
